Bot Sentry is a new and cool BungeeCord plugin to stop all type of Bot Attacks without any issue.

Our aim with this plugin is to protect your server 24 hours, with simple and fast checks that bots won't be able to bypass.

Bot Sentry has been tested with up to 5.000 bots per second attacks and designed to stop all bot attacks. Your players won't notice bot attacks, as normal players will be able to join without any issue while bots will be blocked.

IMPORTANT: If you don't use Linux operating system, you must set the option "ban: true" to "ban: false".

The plugin will stop banning ips via IPTables with that, but, as bots will get kicked anyway, this won't affect those who doesn't run Linux.

The configuration of Bot Sentry is so easy.
You will have just to change the default AuthLobbies names to your authlobby name into the config.yml and you are ready to go!
If you just have 1 authlobby, remove the second line.



BotSentry is meant to work as it is, just configurating AuthLobby.

» /botsentry or /bs
See the list of all avaliable commands

» /botsentry unban {ip} or /bs unban {ip}
It will execute the Unban Linux Command specified in the config using an IP

» /botsentry ban {ip} or /bs ban {ip}
It will execute the Ban Linux Command specified in the config using an IP

» /botsentry unban all or /bs unban all
It will execute the Unban Linux Command specified in the config with all the detected Bots IP

» /botsentry stats or /bs stats
It will tell you the total of Banned Bots from when you installed the plugin to now

» /botsentry now or /bs now
It will tell you the Banned Bots in that exact moment, before they get automaticlly unbanned or the command /bs unban all is used



➳ The permission "botsentry.admin" gives you permission to all the plugin Commands
➳ The permission "botsentry.advice" makes you recieve an ActionBar when bot is detected



( ! ) Last BungeeCord version > The plugin is compatible with the latest BungeeCord version.

( ? ) Linux > That is OPTIONAL! The plugin has the option to set Linux Ban Commands to false.

By default, if you set it to true, it will execute the Specified command into Linux OS, so, if you don't have Linux, just disable the Ban Command and the plugin will still work correctly, just set this to False to do disable linux commands.



If Linux commands are not working for you, you will need to use the plugin with root.
Using root is never recommended, not just by us, its globally not recommended to use it. So you must know its risky, and its your own responsability and decission to use it.
And you ALWAYS have the option to set 'ban: true' to 'false' in the config.yml and the plugin will work well anyways if you don't want to use Root acces

( ? ) QuietCord > That is OPTIONAL! That plugin will remove the Bungee Console message when someone connects. That is optional because BotSentry adds a custom Connection Console Message

Is your BungeeCord Crashing with a Bot Attack?

Bot Sentry is designed to prevent and mitigate ALL type of bot attacks without any problem. Thats why its named as an AntiBots.

So, if your BungeeCord crashes, the problem comes from ANOTHER plugin.

I know that because it happened me and the only solution to Bungee crashes is Removing all .jar and adding them one by one and opening the server and attacking, to detect what is the Plugin that can't handle that ammount of connections.
